I am a professional makeup artist, specialising in bridal makeup - and I’m based in Cape Town. This past April I had the privilege to do Micaela’s wedding makeup in Paarl, South Africa.

Micaela was a bride that did not wear makeup EVER. She was very scared of looking cakey, or “too much”. So we went with a very natural makeup look for her wedding. She was so happy with how her makeup turned out, as it emphasised her natural beauty. I really love how her makeup photographed! She looks like a naturally glowing bride!

Micaela’s wedding took place at Rhebokskloof Wine Estate in Paarl, and it was such a beautiful venue!
